Scored a stuffy for my thrilled little girl from one of those dropping-claw-in-a-box-of-impossible-to-grab-toys at the local pub and was shocked by my success. Then realized the pink tiger was adorned in black skulls. A Pyrrhic victory if ever there was one.

A recent writing exercise: my five-year-old daughter likes to ask how you spell words and then decorates the letters as she goes along. Why she’s still caught up in last year’s presidential election is a mystery to me.

The guy at the bike store said these make your bike go faster. Sounded like common sense to me. After a full battery of tests, it’s confirmed: pink and purple streamers enhance bike speed by up to 13%.
